Barrett Brenton

Why I joined:

I joined the committee to be fully supportive of and actively involved in diversity initiatives across the division of student affairs. Diversity work is important to me as an engaged citizen, ally,  and anthropologist, with a career commitment to fostering active and constructive dialogue around embracing difference. 


Anne Saint-Juste

Why I joined:

I am excited to be a part of the Diversity Committee to discuss important DEI initiatives on campus, but also have the opportunity to add to and develop new DEI initiatives. DEI is an important aspect of our jobs and should be thought about and considered in our day to day work. I want to continue to be a part of creating a welcoming, diverse, and inclusive space for our faculty, staff, and students.

Why I joined:

I am excited to support individuals and organizations that can enrich and educate all groups found on campus on topics of diversity, equity, and inclusion in meaningful ways. It is imperative as a community and society to continue expanding our worldview to be more inclusive and understanding of one another. 


Tiffany Soto

Why I joined:

I am excited to be a member of the committee and actively contribute to ensuring that organizations and offices are able to have access to funding for their diverse programming and events which serve to celebrate a multitude of cultures, provide education to not only their attendees but campus wide as well and thus foster a deep sense of belonging and a campus of inclusivity.

Why I joined:

Diversity work is important to me because I believe inclusive environments really allow for educational discourse to be fruitful. I鈥檓 always excited to see and hear about what students are doing. I enjoy being able to be part of a team that can help facilitate and maintain a diverse and inclusive environment.
