An Interactive Learning Experience

The School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences’ Skills Lab is an integral part of the pharmacy education experience.  Using high-fidelity mannequins, specialized software and standardized patients, faculty design interactive simulations that immerse students in clinical situations they will encounter in pharmacy practice.  The Skills Lab simulations promote student mastery of pharmaceutical concepts and increase both confidence and communication skills.

Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ the Skills Lab

The Skills Lab course sequence is designed to prepare students for the clinical setting. Through interactive simulations designed by dedicated Pharmacy Practice faculty, students practice consultation, assessment and counseling skills.

Facilities

The Skills and Compounding Labs serve the School of Pharmacy programs with 8,800 square feet of simulation space including simulated community and hospital pharmacies, compounding spaces and hospital bays.
