Branding Toolkit

The Office of Creative Services has developed a collection of logos and template files that can be used by University faculty and staff to create a unified look across all Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ communications materials.

If you need something that is not available below, please contact Gerald Hovancik, senior director of Creative Services, at ghovanci@binghamton.edu or 607-777-6616.

Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ Templates

To use the template options below, you must have Adobe InDesign software and a working knowledge of the program. You should also have the University fonts. You may download a collection of or obtain photos from (if you have access).

Brochures, Fact Sheets, Posters

Four template families are available. Each family has templates for:

  • 8.5 x 11 trifold brochure — two different side 2 options presented
  • 8.5 x 11 fact sheet, single sided
  • 8.5 x 11 fact sheet, double sided — two different side 2 options presented
  • 11 x 17 poster (speaker or lecture series posters are below)

If you’re creating a communications campaign that requires a combination of brochures, fact sheets and/or posters, select one of these four template families to ensure the campaign looks cohesive.

If you’re producing a single piece, select the appropriate template from among any family.

While you may slightly alter the templates to suit your needs — for example, adjusting the number of photographs or the size of the font for heads or subheads — pieces must adhere to University Brand Guidelines.

Template family 4 bleeds off the page. Don’t choose this family unless you’re planning to use a printer with this capability (not your office printer). The Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ Print Solutions. Print Solutions can provide this service (contact them to discuss), as can local digital and offset printers.

Speaker or Lecture Series Posters

Two options for a series of 11 x 17 posters are available:

  • Series 1: use this if your photos are portraits
  • Series 2: use this with any other type of photo

If you’re producing a single poster, you may select from these poster series offerings or from any of the four template families above.

While you may slightly alter the templates to suit your needs, pieces must adhere to University Brand Guidelines.
