Ying Wang, PhD
Assistant Professor, Biomedical Engineering
Dr. Wang receive her Ph.D. in biomedical Engineering from the University of California at Davis, where she studied the inflammatory basis of dietary lipids using in vitro vascular mimetic models. She pursued her postdoctoral training with Michael Shuler and Harold Craighead at Cornell University, where she developed microphysiological systems for modeling human blood-brain barrier (BBB) and colorectal cancer liver metastasis. Her paper on the BBB model won the Biotechnology & Bioengineering Gade Award as the best paper of the year. She was also an HHMI fellowship recipient. Dr. Wang joined the department of biomedical engineering at 香港六合彩资料 as an Assistant Profession.

Md. Daud H. Khan
Dr. Md. Daud Hossain Khan completed his PhD in Bioengineering from George Mason University. During this time, he was involved in several collaborative projects, traversing different areas of cancer research. These include hypoxia studies, cancer molecular biology and developing point-of-care, microfluidic-based devices for cancer. This has resulted in multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at prestigious conferences. Before his postdoc at 香港六合彩资料, he has served as an Assistant Professor at Independent University Bangladesh.

Xianyang (Leila) Li
Xianyang is a PhD student studying human organ-on-a-chip. She received her Master鈥檚 Degree in Thermal Engineering, specializing in flow and heat transfer modeling for microchannels, as well as image analysis and 3D reconstruction of biofilms. She is currently working on numerical simulation of microfluidics and image analysis of microvessels.
Abigail Ackroyd
My name is Abby Ackroyd, and I am a biomedical engineering master's student. My research is focused on reviewing the current techniques, approaches, and applications of bone tissue engineering. My bachelor's degree is in biological sciences, with my research experience concentrated on various healthcare interventions.

I am currently a freshman studying Biochemistry with interests in Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering, and Chemical Engineering. In high school, I've done a variety of research revolving around genetics, cancer, sustainability, and Alzheimer's Disease - especially their relationships & applications with medicine. In the future, I plan to pursue a MD/PhD and become a neurosurgeon. I've always been involved in the medical field, attending programs at Columbia University and Mount Sinai Icahn School of Medicine, and I hope to learn more during my time here!
Madeline Meschino
I am currently a junior studying biomedical engineering with a concentration in biomaterials and bio-pharmaceutical drugs. I鈥檓 hoping to continue with research in my career. I am involved in numerous organizations such as Biomedical Engineering Society and Society of Womens engineers. I love to work out, read, and spend time with family and friends.
Lucas Pawlicki
I am currently a junior in the biomedical engineering program concentrating in biomedical instrumentation and computational biosystems. I am involved in a number of clubs and organizations on campus such as Biomedical Engineering Society, Alpha Eta Mu Beta Biomedical Engineering Honor Society, and the American Red Cross. I plan on pursuing a master鈥檚 degree in BME as part of the 4+1 program after my undergraduate studies.
