Sadamori Kojaku

Assistant Professor

School of Systems Science and Industrial Engineering

Background

Kojaku is an instrument maker, crafting a computational telescope/microscope to probe complex data. The foundation of his tools is rooted in extensive research on complex systems, network science and representation learning. He uses these tools for, but not limited to, research on the science of science and computational social sciences.

He was a postdoctoral fellow at Indiana University, working with Professor Yong-Yeol Ahn on representation learning for the science of science. He served as a research associate at the University of Bristol, working on network science under the supervision of Professor Naoki Masuda. He obtained his PhD in computer science from Hokkaido University in 2015 (advisor: Professor Mineichi Kudo).
