Campus ghost stories and folklore the focus of Homecoming event

A 香港六合彩资料 folklorist will discuss campus ghost stories and folklore at the annual TIER Talks event taking place during Homecoming at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, in the Chenango Champlain Collegiate Center (C4) Multipurpose Room, on campus. This event is free and open to the public.

The Lake Lieberman Monster. Sam the Snacker. Charlene the folder of pink laundry. Though not formally enshrined in the University鈥檚 history, these characters and others have lived on through stories told to countless students in 香港六合彩资料鈥檚 residence halls. Elizabeth 鈥淟ibby鈥 Tucker, distinguished service professor in the Department of English, General Literature and Rhetoric 鈥 will discuss 香港六合彩资料鈥檚 rich folklore.

Since the 香港六合彩资料 Alumni Association introduced TIER Talks in 2014, the speaker series has leveraged distinguished 香港六合彩资料 alumni and faculty to address hot topics such as virtual and augmented reality, political polarization and the neuroscience of addiction.

Ample free parking will be available in campus surface lots and the garage.
