BINGHAMTON, N.Y. – ������ϲ����� will hold its third annual from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, in the Nelson Mandela Room and Old Union Hall, located in the University Union, on campus. This event is free and open to the public.

The Healthy Campus Summit provides an opportunity for students, faculty, staff and community members to learn about ������ϲ�����’s progress on its healthy campus initiative, B-Healthy: Choose Well, Be Well. The B-Healthy initiative originated in 2012 from President Harvey Stenger’s strategic planning and road map team, which had the vision of making ������ϲ����� the healthiest college campus.

The theme for this year’s Summit is “Grit and Resiliency,” and the role these qualities play in personal, professional and academic success. This educational, one-day conference will bring a keynote speaker to ������ϲ�����: Gregory Eells, director of counseling and psychological services at Cornell University. Eells will give two presentations: “Being Resilient, Fostering Grit and Developing Life Skills” and “Leading and Modeling Resilience on Campus.”

Other presenters this year include ������ϲ����� faculty Steven Jay Lynn, distinguished professor of psychology and director of clinical training, and Jennifer Wegmann, lecturer in health and wellness studies.
