New alumna pursuing her opera dreams
Kiara Walker remembers the first time she heard opera. It was during her undergraduate years at Georgia鈥檚 Valdosta State University, where she had leaned toward a theater major. She heard one of her best friends sing an aria, and the sound sparked a new passion for classical music.
